I agree totally. I've been jumping back and forth between both games, and considering that I only paid $45 for this game, I think that I've got my money's worth. If I paid retail, I don't think I'd feel the same way IMO.

Well but a lot of us learned from this years experience, don't buy games on launch day especially sports games. Next year I will wait until at least a month has passed and all bugs and glitches are found and then I'll base my purchase on that instead of reviewers who don't even play the game long enough to accurately review it.

It seems like the hype has completely died now...

Does anyone know if there will be another patch? will it be a major patch? I think EA needs that right now...a lot of people have shifted over to 2K since their patch was big.

I just really like this game, and although I am among those who have moved to 2k10, I want to keep playing live, I just want to know if it can be fixed at this point, or if I have to accept that I have to wait until live 11.

is this serious? There are plenty still playing LIVE. Maybe people just got tired of complaining and are just playing the game.

Count me in as officially "not playing".

I waited until after the patch and really gave the game a chance...but there's just so much missing from a basketball game. It's the 2010 season, but much of this game feels like 2004. The CPU never makes the extra pass, so much one pass and shoot...rebounding is terrible...transition game needs a lot of work still...i block a shot and the CPU guys all stand there looking into the crowd whilst the ball is on the floor next to them...generic post game...Shaq shooting fadeaways...the 3 point shot being the main weapon...players standing out of bounds...no real depth of coaching options (please add in LIVE 11 the ability to change each team via a coaches menu)...same animations over and over and over again in the paint regardless of which player...no real emphasis on weight, Shaq can be backed down by anyone...........and a lot of other things.

This game has hit a massive wall for me...and I'm pretty sure that's because I played LIVE 09 a lot and that game had all of these issues. I am dissapointed that so many things from LIVE 09 weren't adressed, whilst others were made much worse (post game in LIVE 09 was actually better than LIVE 10...)

I got to the point where I really disliked a lot about the game...so I traded it in yesterday.

I really disliked NBA 2K9 last season and played LIVE 09 more than the other game...but this season I find myself really enjoying the other one, so there's no need to keep both. As Pared will testify,six months ago I was on the record here as saying LIVE 10 would be the better game. I was very, very wrong. I am really dissapointed they left in so much of the garbage that was in LIVE 09 after the producers posted repeatedly here that all that stuff would be removed and fixed.

I hope the EA team really sit down and realise that a pretty good half court game isn't going to cut it anymore. They need to realise there's a hell of a lot more to basketball than the ability to blow by your defender with a crossover. They need to work on blocks, boarding, defense, game pace....and please add some genuine hustle and a post game. Missing so many things was acceptable in 2005, but it isn't in 2010.

Still playing. The game is a lot of fun and will get better once the kinks in Dynamic Season are ironed out and the 2nd patch drops.

Not playing anymore. I'm not sure what it is but the game has gotten VERY stale to me. I can't finish games anymore and I'm not having fun like I did when I first got it.

I think once the second patch comes and they've ironed out all the issues I might give it a try again.

Definitely still playing.

Have mixed feelings about the patch. Seemed overly ambitious with a lot of new gameplay additions/changes. It certainly had an impact on the overall feel of the game. I was one of those who really loved this game out of the box. The patch had good and bad parts for me.

But I'm still playing. Elements such as playcalling, offball movement and passing just work so well for me, I couldn't see myself going over to 2K anytime soon. It's kind of like having team control rather than control of an individual and just hoping the AI guesses what you want it to do.

I put mine on the shelf. As you can see by my sig I was pretty hyped for live this year. Unfortunately after the first patch the game became very stale. Its the animations for me. Dwade and quentin Richardson should not havnthemsame animation package

I will try again after the second patch to make my final decision on whether I'm keeping the game or not. I'm enjoying the hell out of the other game post patch.

I still play it occasionally (2-3 times per week). I use Live for one off matches between random teams and if i'm feeling like a defensive struggle type game (i still like how i can get 35-55% fg percentages out of the box).

I use the other nba game for association and myplayer which takes up roughly 80% of my available gaming time.

I think if anybody REALLY enjoys this game they're not being honest with themselves. I see the same things everybody else sees and i'm sure everybody else see's what I see lol if that makes cents. I'm not hear to complain I'm just answering to a thread question. I am not bias nor am I a fanboy. I just want good games that play good and look good, we put plenty of money in their pockets the least they can do is make a game worth playing. I just refuse to play madden or basketball games any longer. I don't know, I wish I could get in contact with the live team because they're are great people on here with brilliant ideas that need to be put out there.

i have never posted on the " other game forums" because i have no interest in it.... yet live is so garbage that yall still wasting your time here

i hate to be combative to fellow posters but the trolling on the live boards is getting rediculous now
