Seems to me whenever you play any player up close out on the 3pt line then they just take the shot

I thought it was just me because i changed some setting like fouls to zero to do some clips..

everytime i play tight on a guy beyond the 3pt line they just shoot it

Yeah there are times when the CPU seems to try to play based on their DNA no matter what and not how the D is playing.

It's like D-Wade will do X in X situation regardless of if he's wide open or has a hand in his face.

I'm with you, selling it off. I've tried it all, the game is just dead to me. Dynamic Season is a complete dud to me, I know others like it, but for me, it feels like I'm playing exhibition games. I can't even see the box score for the game I just played. UGH.

Then the stats being off in the DS just further kills it. Just nothing pulling me back in for one more game

I'm of the same opinion. I'm ready to sell it off after being a big supporter this year. The DS is jacked up, dynasty mode is unplayable IMO, and the games do feel soul-less. Don't know how else to describe it. Not having a functional season or dynasty mode kills it for me. Generic player models, No OT bugs, etc are just icing on the cake.

The problem is that the trade-in value is so low (~$15) that it's not really worth it to sell/trade it unless I combine it with another game on one of the Gamestop deals where you get $40 credit for select games.

I've played both 2K and Live this year and both games fall well short of what I was hoping for in 2009, especially in terms of bugs and lack of polish. I've decided to not get NCAA Basketball 10 as well, unless I here from OSers that the dynasty mode is a major upgrade.

There are just too many great games coming out this time of year to force yourself to play one that you just can't get into. I'm gonna go back and play 2k9 with updated rosters this year for my bball fix I guess.

One thing's for sure - I won't buy another sports game on release day. Definitely gonna wait a month or more and see what the consensus among the OS crowd is on each game. See what patches are necessary and if I'm willing to wait on them.

You should be able to get at least $40 for it on eBay.

I'll probably ditch this game pretty soon, put it on the eBay and get 2K10 and NCAA '10. At least with NCAA '10 we can do without the DNA-type updates and do a lot of editing ourselves.

Between the DNA and the insane amount of contact in the paint (even with proper layup solutions) the game is trying my nerves. Now you get shots off and get to the FT so it's not horrible but there shouldn't be contact 99% of the time you go into the lane. There need to be more clean layups. I popped in Live 09 and NCAA 09 and it was fine in those games.

This game is so up and down, one day I think I've got everything fine and something new pops up that annoys the hell out of me.

I agree. I sell all my games on Ebay now. I won't bother trying to trade them in at gamestop anymore. You definitley get more on ebay.
