    YOU MUST BE NEW HERE

this game does not simulate FB's well at all, you will rarely if ever see them.

its a documented issue in live recently, it has gotten alot of attention on these boards we are hoping for an improvment sometime in the near future

I have been around for a while, but I didn't read a lot on these boards over the last few months because I was in Iraq. Is this something they are trying to patch for this year, or not?

You'll see one or two a game post-patch, you didn't see any pre-patch.

Hi there...a number of people brought this up last season and the producers spent a lot of time trying to fix it without success.

Unfortunately the engine basically just doesn't do fastbreaks...the CPU reverts to setting up a play / running DNA basically 99% of the time unless they have a completely open path to the hoop (And even then they'll set up plays sometimes...when 3 on 0 they will still set up a play...). It's the engine, unfortunately.

                  Sad but true...

I had to put DNA tendencies at freakin 0 just to see if the fast breaks were broken or tied into DNA percentages.

Now it does help the game but it's pretty drastic having to edit every damn player to 0 tendenicies to open up fast break logic better. That's the only way their fast break anticipation ratings kicks in more when it's not fighting with DNA tendencies.

EA can send out a patch but IMO the only way to fix the fast break logic is to reduce the effects of DNA kicking in during the transistion game. It's kinda sad too because Live at one time had the best open court/transition game on the planet.

Now it's all about guys reverting to halfcourt tendencies even in a fast break situation more often than not...........

I wonder if it would be possible for them to somehow turn off DNA during a fastbreak?

I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...

I see alot off of turnovers if that helps maybe adjust the steal and interception slider

Same here... whenever I get stripped the CPU runs the full length of the floor and always attempts a fast break.

Good point. I think most fast break are done off a rebound or a steal. Not always just most of the time, so if the producers can focus on that and make crashing boards more effective to the point where crashing the boards opens the door for the opposing teams to run fast breaks that can help.
