I'm thinking about trading in my copy too. I've been playing Madden constantly. I can't seem to stick with Live. I feel like I haven't given Live a chance but evrytime I play I'm like "hmm...it's ok" I keep waiting to start a dynasty as long as I can wait. But honestly I know deep down that dynasty is the excact sme crap as last year. The more I read about 2k and the D-league and their random draft classes the more I want to switch. I mean the random dookies for Live are horrible just like last year I'm pretty sure. I heard somwhere that 2k would be on sale for $25 on black friday. Well what do you guys think? Trade in Live for credit/cash and grab 2k on black friday? I've also been thinking about trying Dragon age?

When I hear people complaining about driving into the paint I have to say you guys are not playing the game right. I too had those complaints till I read a few threads and saw a few vids that are posted in these forums. If you do a search, and the thread title WILL be the clue, you will find the answer to what you are doing wrong in the paint. It will open the game up more for you. If I can get Duhon, Gallinari and the rest trips to the line or nice layups and shots ANYBODY should be able to PROVIDED the dude you playing gives up the guts inside.

To the original poster. Just give up on the game then. We don't need to hear you whine about it. NBA LIVE is as close to a sim game as you are going to get.

I feel so cheated by EA...

1-I haven't heard a single thing of "Dynamic Commentary" in any of my dynamic season games

2-"Players play like theirselves this year" BS!!!!!! I played my Dynamic Season game of Hawks vs Rockets last night...Shane Battie shot 42 times in the game!!!! 42!!!!!!!!!!!! He was going off the dribble from the top of the key or shooting fade aways from the post..SHANE BATTIER!!!!!!!!! I remember that LIVE commercial that showed Lebron calling an ISO play....I haven't once seen the CPU call an Isolation play Against me!!!

3- " You will have the most accurate up to date stats " again...BS!!! Stats on dynamic season are all messed up!!!

4- Wasn't Live supposed to be the most accurate game with accesories, looks and stuff??....well, like we all know, they haven't delivered there yet....rookies still have the black pictures...and look like default players....

5-Players randomly shooting fade away 3's with around 15 seconds on the shot clock is still present...EVEN CENTERS!!!!!!
I love the gameplay....but i'm very very dissapointed with all the things EA promised and just fell short!!!! I only wish someone would sue for false advertisement...or for promising stuff that don't work like they promised!!!

You got do like me and just put it down until January......

I'm guessing that is when they will finally have some of these damn problems fixed.

I've given up and will give it another shot in January because I don't want to eat the $60 without atleast giving them more time to fix the issues

Just going to co-sign that "dynamic commentary" to the extent that people like to talk about was never advertised for Live 10. The only thing commentary wise that was advertised were the Storylines, which would change dynamically depending on who was playing and when. You can't get mad because the game didn't live up to speculation.

lol...that's cool......I should have had a few too, specially after watching Georgia get beat by Kentucky....that one hurt!!

back to the topic.......Yeah I guess i'll give it a go till January, funny thing is we haven't heard from developers in a while.....I hate feeling this way about this game...cause I was one of the ones that really believed LIVE WAS BACK!!!!

I do want to say one thing...Iminu has done a great job correcting stuff in dynamic season...this IS NOT a complaint against him at any way!!! I think he has done great with the job given to him and dealing with guys like us.....

I officially gave up earlier today and made the jump back to 2K. This year was an improvement for Live but it just got stale quick, and has a long way to go before it's in the same league. One of my main gripes is the lack of animations and the horrible collision you get sucked into when you go for a layup/dunk in the paint. The dynasty mode was also pretty dry and not exciting and I think dynamic season was extremely overhyped. After one game of 2k, the presentation alone amazed me more than anything I had did in Live 10.

I agree...i have live and 2k and just one game of 2k is better than the countless amount of games i've played on live. It's a shame b/c i've like live for soo long and wanted it to be good, but the truth is it's not. There is way too many wtf moments and the lasting factor is not there.

Nothing they advertised seems to be legit.

Not the dynamic commentary (They still say the same old boring lines)

Not the hustle plays (Players still watch the ball roll past them and not attempt to get it.)

Dynamic Season=Failure (It is not as good as ea hyped it up to be)

Live just frustrated me to the point that i will never buy it again on release day b/c the way ea hypes up their game it doesn't live up to it.

I also used to say this was the best sim out, but when you continually play the game and see soo many bball fundamentals missing i don't understand how so many ppl can still say it is the best sim out right now when 2k has soo much stuff done better in their game.

Im gonna stop ranting on live b/c the more i think about it the more i get angry with it. Well time to play assassin's creed 2 and cod mw2....at least i can say some of my games are worth the $60.

I think if the developers aren't talking is because they are busy working on the 2nd patch. I have a feeling they know what's not right with this game and are making every effort to fix the problems. That being said, I am still enjoying it.

2k is fine online when i play a regular vs ranked game but when me and my friends try to play the crew games then yea it sucks b/c it hardly ever works but as i said regular ranked games are fine...at least when i play them....i don't know about you.

Live never advertised dynamic commentary this year... all they advertised was storylines pre-game that talk about a player's hot/cold streaks.

The game is far from perfect to be sure, and some real moments still happen... like Williams taking almost every shot for the Sixers almost every trip up the floor. Despite the issues I still really like the game... because when you play a full session without any BS happening it's easily the best simulation of the sport I've ever played IMO.

But that's just me.
