I do really feel for the devs though...

Hear me out. We look at the situation with Live 10. We can all agree against sim ballers nothing beats this game and even against causals it's still fun. But the fatigue and 3 issue is killing the joy for some. But let's look at some things. When we play these games online we have to realize that everyone is play game 7 of the NBA finals. Superstars ain't coming out of that game, YET at the same time we're playing during the season when the athletes are at their peak performance and also when they're at their best shooting. Factor all of that and how do you program this?

I've had this theory before but the only way I can see some cheese getting cut is if online ranked games have "memory" so that what you do in one game affects the next game. You wear your starters out one game they get affected the next game. Get tired quicker etc. etc. A guy gets injured on your squad one game for 4 games then the next 4 times you use that team he's gone. Something like this is the only way you can force people to make some better decisions about the way they play online.

    That's a great idea...

But I have also this suggestion in ranked online match for Live 11... Live devs if you're reading this..

In every 31 games you'll play in ranked online match, a user is only allowed to use the same team once. Like if he's done using the Cavs then there's no way he can use it again unless he's done using the other remaining 30 teams.

Force them to use the other teams especially the lame teams like NJN.

Tired of playing in ranked online match against Cavs, Suns, Celtics, Magic, Lakers, Hawks, & Nuggets.

Negative. As much as I'm fed up with the way things are playing out with this game, as well as playing the same teams online every day, you can NEVER take away the users freedom to select the teams they want to play with. If you don't like the team your opponent is selecting, its as easy as backing out of the game. With the fatigue and 3 point issues, there are no options. I mean would you really buy a sports game that limits you as to what teams you could and couldn't use? Terrible idea, no offense.

I agree, why should i be punished of my favorite team is the Lakers? Heck, if the football game was good enough for me to play. I would only use the Chiefs and they are TERRRIBLE. Baseball all i use is the Dodgers. I dont care to play with other teams.

You dont take a players freedom of selecting his team away. Thats bad.

That idea isn't bad, I've thought of that before, but like others have said taking away a person's ability to use their favorite TEAM isn't so kosher but having them just abuse with that said team (especially when we ALL know that 90% of Cavs, Nuggets, Lakers users are not fans at all) isn't either. That's why I say the memory thing. If you're a fan of a squad you're a fan of a squad no matter what. So if you dog Kobe out one game and give him no rest the next game he should take a bit of a hit, compile that over several games and he'll become non-effective or even injury prone. You still can use your squad but now you gotta rely on some other guys and TRUE fans of teams would relish the idea rather than frown on it.

And , to make things clear, you have to play those games out so you can't get Kobe injured for 5 games , use another squad for 5 games, and come back and Kobe's fresh. You have to play those 5 out. Of course we all know this will probably result in some lame chumps helping each other cheat by taking L's with busted squads to dummy accounts or something but this is something that EA should be able to sniff out and throw the ban hammer on.

EDIT: Perfect ad campaign for the new feature. Loop that old Chubb Rock cut "Treat em Right" in the background with Lebron saying "You know I'm gonna work for you but player, you gotta treat me right". lol

I think a big part of our problem here at OS, is that we're looking at things from a sensible, educated, person point-of-view.

            There's the rub.

The reality is, there's a TON of total idiots, and 12 yr old nitwits that buy and play this game. They don't know S&%t about basketball, (but could probaly tell you in detail all of Melo's tattoos and arm sleeve combinations).

They don't go to Operation Sports. To them, a Patch is just a 10 minute delay from them playing their game. They don't know Sim from a hole in the ground, and just wanna go be Cleveland and jack up threes with Mo and dunk all day with Lebron.

Sadly, I think there’s a lot more of them, than there is us. Unfortunately, that aint gonna change.

Exactly. My nephew came to town the other day and wanted to play live. He beat me pretty bad the first game, of course he was the Lakers verse my Pacers. I eventually had to adapt my strategy to a fast pace run and chuck if I had any prayer of beating his dribble up and shoot the three approach.

He is 12, doesn't care about playing it with a basketball strategy...though I guess he can argue that if you had a real life player capable of shooting 25 3 pointers and hitting 15 or 16 of them you would be a fool not to. That is how these guys think of it, so long as the game makes it possible they will do so, and definitely they feel they earn the right to play that way when they are paying the same $50 or $60 for the game that we do.

The game needs to be set up that if your 12 years old no way u can beat me by running around and chucking 3s, also if the user likes to take way out of rhythm 3's there needs to be air balls or shots that bearly hit rim, That will deter players from playing like that.
