is it jus me??? PS3 question

haven't played the game in a while, but I jus played it today again and I'm pretty sure I was playing with the 2nd patch. When I was playing, it felt like I didn't have good repsonsiveness from the controls. For example, when moving my analog it felt like the reponse time was slow...like it was dragging. I also experienced this in shooting, passing, etc.

So, is this jus a problem with ps3??? anybody else have this or noticed this problem???

Please let me know if anybody else is experiencing problems and hopefully some solutions for it!

Its wierd but I'm kind of feeling this as well.. the game just doesnt feel as sharp for me now. I took a break from Live for a bit and coming back to it now.. it feels a bit slow and deliberate and less precise with players taking a split second longer to react to my control inputs.

Could be my imagination.. but interesting to see someone else post this. I didnt notice this when I first downloaded the new patch but for me it does seem little a bit clunky now.

yea...I'd like to hear from others as well. I'm playing on the 2nd patch. However, I have played it recently and it didn't seem to be soo bad. what do the rest of u think?

Before you even get into a game take notice if you feel sluggishness when going through the menus. Take notice if you have to press A (X I think on PS3) twice before it registers you hit it. If you feel that restart game. I think that may be a source of the problem.

Yeah I find that happens when I sign in to PSN while the game is loaded up.. I havent noticed it affecting the actual gameplay before but that might have something to do with it.

I've played Live today and yesterday now and I'm not finding any trouble.. game is fluid as ever. I think some of it might have been down to me being frustrated at being completely shut down and blown out by the Spurs..

I just bought the game yesterday and downloaded the 2nd patch and I played 3 games last night. The responsiveness felt sluggish to me. I kept trying to jump to block a shot and the shot was already gone before my guy even jumped.

I've also experienced the issue with having to press X several times to get my input to register. It's very noticeable when I'm trying to make substitutions.

Still enjoying the game though.

I find the contesting can be a bit sluggish from time to time.. but what you said about the substitutions is definitely an issue. If this happens I suggest you just turn off the game and restart it.. its pretty annoying.. it happens in all the menus too and I think it might affect the gameplay a little, but I'm not too sure.

Thanks, I'll try that. You're right, the issues can be annoying but I'm still enjoying the game and that's really all that matters isn't it? Everyone wants to feel like they were justified in spending $60 for a game.
