Layup Solution; tired of sucking contact in the paint! Ehh is here for you..

Well first of all i can't thank enough to Ehh who makes the blog about layup solutions which takes the game into another level of joy. And i can't believe myself that i was here a lot and haven't seen his blog just till now.

Here the link i give you will solve all your problems guys if you are tired of sucking animation everytime you get into paint and whining about not getting enough to the free throw line.

    The Solution: http://www.operationsports.com/ehh/b...ons-read-this/

Well and also i like to know all other people who already know this not to bash the thread out as there are a lot of new comers with the game and don't know what to do with this two problem, so i believe it would be helpful for those who haven't still read or encountered with the helpful blog of ehh.

And then i like to share my experience after reading his blog, as i was having a lot of fun with the game already without knowing what layup solution is, i kinda wondered how some moves are happening and did my search finally got to ehh's blog; and all of a sudden i've seen a bright light you know, although i was having great fun with the game this knowledge doubled my joy!

And then practiced a little with what has been said and got into a quick game with Spurs against my ultimate enemy which is Suns( Until the layup solution i couldn't get a single win against them no matter which team i picked and no matter how different strategies i've tried. Nothing.) that's how desperate i was against them. So i kinda start with some iso's as to try out some more layup solution moves with parker and i've seen things that i never seen before you know; long story short at the end of the game i was jumping around celebrating my win against Suns for the first in my game, and i can't tell you how much i've enjoyed nailing this layup solution thing.

And also i got the ft line 17 times on the other hand they went 6 times.

Finally, another thing that i've realized maybe you already know about is that if you stay on defense with holding turbo down all the time with moving l stick little you will have a better chance of d'ing up the spot up jumpers while changing your defender when the opponent passing around to find a j as a consequence of moving your feet faster ofcourse you'll contest shots that will be missed more than usual that's what i've felt i don't know, you could try that out; it's working great for me now. Made my defense much better.

    To Ehh..

ataman, thank you, thank you, thank you!

I just got NBA Live 10 a few days ago. After my first game I was very impressed with the game and happy that I got it. But after I played more and more games I noticed it seemed very difficult. I could tell that I was missing something huge, because it felt like I had no chance against the CPU most the time. I lost in blow-out after blow-out, and was starting to get a little frustrated.

And this thread fixed that! Thank you so much for linking to that solution post... it seriously made my night.

WOW, seriously, that post should be stickied, so any and all Live newcomers can find it. Thanks again ataman!!!!!

I like this idea of Layup solutions but it shouldnt be a requirement not to get sucked into cheap non calls and bad unrealistic contact shots

That's great guys i'm happy as this thread turns into a helpful guide for new comers as i believed most of the people got bored bcs of this issue, and the thing is it's all 100% user error to get sucked into. So you're all welcome; thanks to ehh again.

Yea I know what you mean 23, at first i was kinda worried that this could turn into a cheeser tool as well, as it seemed easy in ways but after all i believed and tested that's not the case most of the time as you come up with different endings in the paint, it felt pretty good and i wasn't aware of the fact that there is solution for this until 10 days ago hovewer i could get into paint work the ball around find my way to the rim before this knowledge, but i wasn't as aggressive as i should be with a pg like tony parker.

So i kinda think that layup solution is a great idea as it involves combinations and user mastering in a game, and that's all about every game that are being succesfull, that can give you the things that you could accomplish in combinations with your mastering and helps you get better as long as you play; a learning curve is definetly there and the interesting thing is i kinda am happy as i found this not too early.

for far too long we have all been flying in from the free throw line to start layups

i remember when another very popular and influential poster on OS said dont be afraid to hit the layup button a little earlier to avoid the strip in the paint i said to myself here we go with the old strategies.

i like the contact animation i just wish it was more varied and make strength matter where a guy like howard hit his defender behind the basket and the few guys i discussed this with got mad not at the animation but because they missed most of the shots....

i would add that people should raise the slider and make more of those tough shots, and probably max out the mid air contact foul thats way its almost automatic 2 shots at the line

unlike the nba where players just concede the 2 pts on the break the cpu cant do that, the contact shot serves as a type if interior D i really hope they dont take it out because then we have a cross layup fest again.

the blog was a good read i dont agree with most of it but it was a good read.....

I aggree strength and speed or any other finesse thing should be calculated in those situations as well, it's obviously a must for post game, too.

If Barg will contest you when you take Parker into paint then, if the contact happens parker shopuld have a more chance against him or If D.How will be there to contest Parker then you should be aware that you have cleared the paint by taking Duncan to High Post etc, in any other situation, you gotta feel how cruel D. How can be
