CPU hurry up offense when up by a few late in game..

Anyone else notice in both games (Live 2k) that when The CPU is up by about 4 or 5 points late in a game they start shooting very early in the shot clock and hit almost everything? Why not run down the clock then shoot..

In LIVE it's because they run whatever play has been called...regardless of the time on the clock / situation etc.

So, even if ahead by 1 with 30 seconds left...if the play called is a quick 3, that's what they CPU will do (even though it makes no sense at that stage).

Pared wrote up a good thread on "late game AI"...check that out.

It definitely needs some work. My "least favourite moment" is when the CPU is down by 3 with only a few seconds left, they shoot and miss...grab the rebound and go for the lay up. I.e. score a 2 when they are down three. Game ends.

I am sure the producers are aware of it though...doubt they let LIVE 11 have the same probs.
