If I rented this game is there anyway to get the updates without having to pay $15 for it, since it didn't come with the code you get if you purchase it?

if u rent it ask for the manual and chances r the code has never been used, otherwise u have break bread lol

The code isn't in the manual. It's a seperate card in the box.

Or you can be sneaky and go to Blockbuster and take the DNA card out of the box! I did...I mean someone told me they did!

I did it when i rented it for the PS3, The card was in there and I wrote the code down and it worked

You actually can play online with the updated DNA rosters without a code. I've brought my copy of the game to a friend's house to play online many times without a hitch. Not having a code just means you can't use the DNA rosters offline, or use dynamic season(I think).
