I'm thinking about getting this game after a disappointing glitch happens in my association in NBA 2k after 69 games in (played every single 12-minute quarter of each). Also... can you change their shots and how realistic are the players' shots? I know it's not supposed to be a sim like NBA 2K, but with the right sliders, do some of you feel like this game is more sim than 2K by any chance?
Who are some players in this game that are good but aren't good in real life?

From my experience, I can't say that NBA Live 10 has more depth than 2k10 in the signature shots. They are changeable, but limited. As you know, 2k10 has almost every single signature shots if not all. But I can say it's more realistic game ever for EA, period, but not the most realistic in mechanics as it has it's own flaws. as other people say, it plays well straight out the box, and with the right sliders, it can be sim like, but that all depends on your play style as well. Live still has a long way to go to become a true competition to 2k, but it is definitely in the right direction. -

Generally speaking I think a couple things affect how "good" some of these players are. First off size does matter. Hasheem is so big I don't know how any game will ever compenstate for actual rebounding skills. Paul Millsap for example has decent rating and can straight up ball in real life IMO but because he is so short he is hard to use in the game.
The other prob to me is guys who can shoot but otherwise aren't that good. Let's call it the Kyle Korver/Mike Miller affect. You can score all days with player like this but the reality is if they shot that often IRL there %s would drop like a rock. I don't know how you would fix it but there needs to be something in the game that kicks in that keeps these support players from going off so often. Like if you shot X number of times more than they would IRL your % has the chance of dropping.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013

Its not too bad.... This game makes you play the exact way a team would do IRL... Its a fun game, just don't expect to come in on dynasty and change to much. You can't fire head coaches or change coaching styles which is a major let down when you wanna take a team like the warriors in a different directionMy All-time Favourite players is order:
1.Larry Johnson
2.Kevin Garnett
3.Blake Griffin
4.Ben Wallace
5.Shawn KempComment
