Half Court pass to C/PF for easy 2!?

WTH I played with my cousin yesterday and he was getting alot of stupid baskets tossing a halfcourt pass to kevin garnett and getting an easy 2. I could not stop it. . .

I was doubling him and even running my guys back quickly and putting them right below the basket cuz I could see him off balling garnet and still somehow as garnett gets the ball he goes by my 2 defenders like if they were not there. . like if he goes through them and when I try it I cant do it they make contact with me and I miss. I even tried putting the "get back" option and putting "yes" on the dbl and all type of defense like "tight,normal, ect" and still could not stop it.

Does anyone know what im doing wrong?

I cant stop it even with that. For me its more like my lack of defense than the setup or something cuz as soon as he grabs the ball down in the paint I can have 2 guys downs there and he can still manage to dribble the ball and move forward and literally "push" my guys back and make his shot without my guys making any contac. .. its like if they werent even there. I know im doing something wrong cuz he can defend me when i try to do it most of the time Im just trying to find out what im doing wrong.

Ive seen that especially when superstars try to penetrate they just make it all the way to the hoop.

yeah, this is a huge problem online - cheesers exploit this cheap tactic constantly. EA needs to fix this cheap crap in Live 11. It is way too easy to make players just run to the hoop and score inside. The main problem is you can't create body contact with offball cutters to stop them from getting to the hoop...you can try to get in front of them, but somehow they still get by you, and then once they are in the paint, you cannot defend the shot because the blocking animations are so bad and ineffective. terrible.

he does it after you score? it should take him a good 1-2 seconds to click off ball to KG so what you do is run your guy up to the line and stand right in front of the inbounder with your hands up...you will get a deflection most times and usually a steal...now if he's not clicking off u just need to be fast with it...

Na they do it pretty much whenever they want. I will try guarding the inbounder like u said though sounds like a good idea. Like for example yesterday I lost to some guy by like 20pts he was using the lakers. He would just off ball gasol running to the paint and he would just go trough my defender and dunk. I would just wish the "get back"' option would actually work it seems it doesnt change anything =o

Use the magic...if they want to try that cheap crap on dwight howard it isn't going to happen. Drop your D into a 2-3 zone and control howard. Of course if you have your guys in zone you won't be able to run up and defend the inbounds pass. Or if your fast you can swithc it quickly...hell if they want to keep breaking like that...FOUL THEM...it will let you set your D up. If they want to act cheezy just hit em with a little bit of cheeze themselves. Fouling every play is chz but if they are trying to leak out on breaks after every damn play a couple fouls will stop that. Or put your guy right under the rim outside the restricted zone and take the charge...
