Everytime I play on allstar I shoot like 30% or less

Am I seriously that bad? I never seem to be able to make layups, they miss almost every time it is contested. I don't get foul calls hardly ever on these contested layups. I can never seem to make a jumper either.

Don't forget there are hardly any fouls which cause the FG% to go down most of those contact lay ups are fouls but since they are not, u miss, FG goes down.

Make sure you are releasing after the "hitch." Check out replays and you'll see what I mean. This seems to be the "perfect" release point this year.

It's bizarre. I don't shoot quite that poorly but, on all-star it seems as though the AI wants to make sure you stay at or around your shooting percentage no matter what. I never get hot and stay hot. I will inevitably cool off for stretches for no apparent reason. I can be on a roll, getting to my sweet spot against an inferior defender and all of the sudden start clanging shots. Against the AI I've never had a JR Smith moment where I hit 6 of 8 threes in the 4th quarter.

That's exactly what it is Bootzilla. The artificial ceiling is a turn-off at All-star.

%'s seem to be perfect, and it's obvious that they are being kept in check regardless of the user input.

Pared, I think you're right. I just don't play enough anymore to really care. If I kick it down to Starter I'd have to screw with the sliders too much and I quite frankly can think of better things to do with my time, ha ha.

Pro wasn't bad, but I felt it wasn't competitive either. But what you described is what kept most people away from AS, as they said it would be too hard.

There just wasn't enough "wiggle-room" for the casual user. IMO, if the shooting were a bit more forgiving (just SLIGHTLY), then AS would have been great.

It was tough finding a medium. Easily create heavy sliders for Pro to increase the difficulty or dumb down AS.

Live needs to add streaks to shooting or at least reflect percentages in situations better. Do they regulate percentages regardless of spot on the floor or situation? That could be the problem. For example: J.R. Smith's percentage from the right wing wide open should be different than contested from the right wing, and if you add hot streaks, he can hit a couple open jays and then cash in on a shot with a defender in his face. Oh well, missed opportunity....

Yeah what he said. Pro is also not a bad level with slider tweaks.
