** Solution for NBA Live '11 to End-Game Disconnects **
We've all been in this situation. You're beating some sucker with a team like the Milwaukee Bucks when they're the Lakers, and with under a minute to go, they disconnect from the game.
Your stats don't get recorded, you don't get the win, you don't get to finish the game, and you leave feeling frustrated.
This is a classic problem online, and EA hasn't done anything to resolve it. So how about this? When an opponent disconnects late in the 4th quarter, NBA Live should swap in the CPU for the rest of the game. The matchup's already been decided for the most part at this point in time, so playing against the CPU isn't really going to have any dramatic side effects.
Or at least give players an option to continue against the CPU when their opponent disconnects. Maybe they don't want to. Pop up a menu and give the choice.
And to take it even further, make the end stats (including CPU play) official for both human players. The guy disconnected- he should be stuck with his poor stats. It's not like the CPU player is going to bring his stats down any further.
