WHY NOT NBA LIVE? WHY NOT?

First off I would like to thank EA for maintaining a high attraction of sports games.

1. Why not bring back allstar weekend?
2. Why not get rid of the air collisoin animation unless a player is fouled?
3. Why not bring in the euphoria engine or natural motion engine?
4. Why not add ESPN presentation like folks have been asking for?
5. Why not have emotional commetating when a huge shot is hit or a hard foul is called or they talk louder when its crunch time?
6. Why not have an emotional crowd?
7. Why not bring in a complete signature system for around the basket, post moves, shooting, dunking, crossovers, even after the play animations.
8. Why not add a players atmosphere to where players interact with players more and with fans?
9. Why not have accurate animations?
10. Why not enable the passing lane steals or dont have them at all.

Actually I have asked about the Euphoria natual Motion engine being used here is what Mike Wang said about it last year.

hey dragon. good question. i think physics based gameplay is definitely the future for basketball games... but there are a lot of technical challenges with integrating a package like euphoria. in basketball, you need a more controlled ragdoll... which is something that euphoria doesn't really offer. we are exploring all the different technologies though. that's one thing i really love about EA. we'll get there eventually.

Some of the stuff you ask for is in NBA LIVE 11. Some will not.

For the ones that won't, the best way to think about it is eveything takes time/effort of which you only have a certain amount of making a game.

Oh well, I guess we have to wait like so many years for a new euphoria with a "controlled" ragdoll.

But you gotta admit that when the players go flyinag and they go upside down and their legs twist the wrong way would be very funny.

We probably won't get ESPN, better commentary or all-star weekend. Things like crowd noise, new animations is most likely what's going to be in the final product. It kinda sucks, but it's true. I still think it will be a good game though.
