So, I was thinking of re-purchasing live 10. If I buy it used will I be able to get updated rosters? I don't care about dynamic season since it's already playoff time.

Did you use a code the first time you had the game to get the updates? If yes, and you didn't delete your NBA Live 10 files from your hard drive, then you should be fine.

Even if he did delete his files he's fine. It's synced with the GT.
