1. Beat your man off the dribble, and score. Even just once a game. Even if you've got Lebron and the other teams 12th man is guarding him?
2. Score with an elite big man in the post?
3. Take advantage of any mis-match what-so-ever?
4. Have more than 2 fast break points (if you're lucky) in a single game?
5. Score without running a play? Because it begins to feel like cheese if you find a play that usually works.

I've had this game for a few months, and as fun as it is... I just think the challenge that the CPU provides is EXTREMELY fake.

It doesn't matter who you're up against, the CPU provides the same exact challenge. I can even go into Fantasy Teams mode... give myself the 12 best guys in the league, and give the CPU 12 12th men. And it provides the same challenge as it would if I was playing the Cavs or Magic etc...

If this is the case, how is it possible to get into this game at all? A Franchise is out of the question. How can the game be even 1% captivating if it's obvious that the game is this hollow / cookie-cutter? In my opinion, this would be the #1 thing to fix for 2011.

Oh also, if I'm just really bad at the game, and the things I listed are easily achieved, can anyone give me some tips/pointers? For what it's worth I've been playing Live since 96 and 2k since 2k. I've never had trouble figuring out a game before

To be honest the ratings are all messed up and the ratings are too high for players that shouldnt be.

You dont have to believe me, check for yourself. Guys that are scrubs have high agility ratings, guys like Derek Fisher has a high vertical, the on ball defense for every player is too high, and so on. Thats why you cant get by anyone.

I edited all of the teams to help some of this garbage out and it helped but IMO the game should never have been made that way.

If you are on the 360 send me a FR and you can check it out. The edits were meant as a test so you could see some differences between player abilities like rebounding and dribbling and you can edit anything you dont like for youself.

Oh yeah- I totally forgot about your roster, I remember I downloaded it back when you had about 8-16 teams done and playing Nuggets vs Suns with a friend and it was WAAAAAY better. Haha, I reset rosters to default/updated just to show him how laughable the game was out of the box, and I never remembered to reload yours. Thanks for the post, I'm going to re-download your newest file right now.
