nba live pc

i was on nbalive.com and saw that people are still updating the old pc version. does anyone know how good it is, or am i better off with live 10 on next gen?

NBA Live for PC was great until 07 was released. PC version allowed you to mod it which you can get at http://www.nba-live.com/ also check the forums sections as a lot of patches and mods are contained there.

It purely depends on which game you play you might enjoy one over the other.

Those were the days playing Live on PC. With all the mods and graphics changes gave that game extra replay value.

Thats right Nba live Pc is still alive. Nba live 2005 and Nba live 06 are what I reccomend because they are still enjoyable til this day. I also have Nba live 08 but I would only cop that if you are interested in go to moves and sig shots and what not because the game play is nowhere near as good as 05 and 06. I also just released a patch that fixes the annoying block issue for nba live 2005 and everybody so far seems to enjoy it. But at the end of the day they are still being modded and I believe some things such as accessories, courts, uniforms, tats, shoes, faces, hairstyles, etc. are more updated than updated than the recent Nba lives. That is if you download the right mods for the pc.

Thats true and live 06 supports 1024x1024 res uni patches so they are fresh and clean.

i used to love patch for live , even tons of retro arenas http://forums.nba-live.com/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=68696. Starting to get that itch to mod and patch again. If i could only get 2k to run right on my mac i would do that for it.

A lot of my jerseys were in that mod.

A lot of good patchers retired after live 06, especially after seeing how limiting 07 & 08 were.
