Why change controls for 11?

I hope they don't f up 11, the controls were the least of the problems, I just hope they give us the option to us the present controls that they have now. I was looking forward to 11, but now i'm a little worried. Nothing is wrong with the current controls.

The new control system is to give the user far greater options and control to the play/move they are attempting its so instead of relying on pushing a button and watching an canned animation play out the user wil be able to have that make a change in play and adjust their crossover, pass or shot on the fly to the exact way they want and not have the cpu act it out for you pre determined.
