Lol this is enough for me to know that I won't be playing this game. I can't stand Mark Jackson as an announcer. I suppose I could I turn off the commentary but damn...no.PS: You guys are great.

Re: NBA Elite 11 Announcers: Mark Jackson, Jeff Van Gundy and Mike Breen
Earlier this year, there was a thread of who would replace Marv and Steve and these 3 guys were in that thread numerous times. Now EA Canada has given us what we've requested, and you still have people coming in here to bash their decision.
Why do you guys even post in here, if you don't like it then move on. And why are there still constant post on 2k and 2k11 being posted in here. It's a Elite 11 forum, we don't care about your feelings to not buy this and your looking forward to 2k11. Nobody cares, really! It's getting old guys.
Some of you will never be happy with anything EA does as a movement. We get it, you don't like them no matter what, why keep posting your comments on why you won't be buying this game or how your audio will be off, etc. Really? Why?
These guys even broadcast tonight's Lakers vs Celtics game and I found them quite good as a trio.Comment

I hate the name, but I love the new addition. Marv and the other dude were just getting bland. I liked NBA live 10 a lot with sliders. If they fix were you can see the numbers when adjusting sliders it would be even better. The gameplay needs some tweaks, like finding a happy/medium with fouls. And since the new announce team is being used, they need a whole ESPN presentation. I think this game will surprise a lot of people. I like that no trailer is being used yet either. NBA 2k11 trailer was ****in stupid using footage from 2k10. We all know the product isnt finished so why not show a commercial of Jordan or something.?? I was a 2k guy, but I am slowly fading especially if NBA elite 11 gets an ESPN presentation.Comment

Re: NBA Elite 11 Announcers: Mark Jackson, Jeff Van Gundy and Mike Breen
I try my best man, to keep things around here on a positive notation. Every year these threads turn into a flame war and the biased gamers come out the wood works with continuous splurs of stupidity and honestly I'm sick of it.
We got developers and producers looking up to Operationsports and our opinions on things. It's time for some of the guys to get their mouth off the nips and put some grown man drawers on and throw away those pull ups and big boy diapers and really start acting like adults.
Start representing OS in a good manor, these developers and guys like that didn't find us as a community by accident. They found us based off our history, and right now our current actions are tarnishing our past. Kind of like what Live series has done with their games. And Elite is trying to bring them back to justice.

See brotha, posting like you did, does nothing but cause this thread to turn into a flaming war between the two titles....above I edited your post. Because you said some good stuff and then turn a few loops that weren't necessary. Let's keep focus on one title without all the comparisons of what planet B is doing, versus what planet A has in mind.Comment

Mark Jackson has become more tolerable this year to me, I hated him up until this year. Glad to see this being done, this series desperately needed a new team and new lines.

Great move by EA to do this. It goes in line with their theme of re-branding.
This season of NBA Basketball Gaming is shaping up to be a highly competitive match-up between 2K and EA, something we all know exclusives has stifled. This is what we want right?
Good stuff.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Great news.... I liked a well timed YESSSS! More than anyone and think Marv is the man, but Kerr was annoying as all hell. Now this is two EA games with much needed changes in the crew..... I know it is off subject but can i PLEASE get Doc Emric in NHL... idc if he is with Eddie (NBC) or Chico (his normaly NJ Devils partner) it would be the best crew in sports gaming.Comment

Thats pretty good news...I might just have to pick it up. To hear Jackson say "Hand down...Man Down"....Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: NBA Elite 11 Announcers: Mark Jackson, Jeff Van Gundy and Mike Breen
I like "Mama there goes that man", but that's the catchphrase I'm looking most to hearing. It's so short, so simple, and yet I love it.
I've been known to yell "BANG!" when I get a goal in 2010 FIFA World Cup.
I was a 2k guy last year. EA is making me rethink things, and I think if these games came out tomorrow EA would get my money.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

As if I needed another reason to avoid EA's basketball title, they add my least favorite announcing team.Comment
