i love the idea of the new shot stick mechanic, but i'm terrified of running into experts who can knock down 3's with Shaq

how does it work with fadeaways? does the timing mechanism change to reflect the new timing?

It all works the same way except the fadeaway timing window is a lot smaller due to it bein a higher difficulty shot.

Check out the interview if you havent yet it explains the whole system in detail. Even has some visual examples of how hard it would be to knock down freethrows with Shaq let alone a 3.

I see what he is saying. Players seem to have a low polygon count, and with the physics not incorporated to the players when they took those images, you get the result of Dwight looking like he is jumping out of the building.

Again, the images are early. I personally think they could have chosen better images based on what we saw. To me a lot of what is need for the game to look at least as good as '10 did was not enabled when they took those shots.

And as others have pointed out, a lot of the graphics are being re-touched, which is why you see the NBA logo socks missing, etc.

All I kno is that Brandon Jennings dunk animation was probably the smoothest dunk I have seen in Live in a long time...excuse me, Elite.

That is one thing that I hope real-time physics addresses and it sounds like it will at least attempt to do so. I felt like both EA bball games in 2010 (and come to think about it, FIFA & NCAA10) were way to herky jerky with their animations, especially when contact was initiated.
