Please people stop it with all this stupid talk about the broadcast angle being removed! Why would they take the most authentic camera angle out? Just think about it. The broadcast view will be in the game just not the default camera angle.

For the people that are saying "No broadcast camera, no buy," you can't be serious...would you really pass on a game just because of the camera angle?

I honestly would. I did it for Backbreaker. I've played it elsewhere but I won't commit to buying a game if I can't enjoy it how I want to.

But that's besides the point here. Again, it doesn't apply with Elite at this point. I played it in Broadcast, David told us specifically when asked that the camera angle would be in the game but the up/down would be default, and unless they do something completely ridiculous and take it out last minute, the speculation is unnecessary.

I think people are concerned about the "unless they do something stupid" part Pared....would it really be the first time? Hey, who wouldve thought a certain other game would take out a camera view thats is NAMED after the game and has been in for years? lol So while no, lets not jump off the building yet, i think some have valid concerns...

Well, when it comes October, and the camera isn't there, you can go ahead and get 2K11. I know I would if that did occur. I'm a broadcast guy, but if they said it's in, then that's what I'm going with for now.

As far as controls, I'm confused as to how that will be an issue. I doubt suddenly up won't be shoot. It's like the "Freestyle" controls now. When you're doing a crossover in any camera angle, you're gonna go left to right, or whatever. You don't do up and down just cause you're on broadcast now.

2k never removed this camera angle. They simply went away from it as default. The only complaint they had was the game was laggy with it selected from what I can remember.

Default for Live used to be a 45 degree angle...

As long as you have options, everyone can play the game in the view they would like. And for those concerned with how it feels, it would be no different than last year and where you got used to all the same style controls for dribbling and such from the broadcast.

Good to know, then it's a definite purchase..can't wait to see the E3 footage of it....in the mean time...back to the NCAA 11 demo....
