NBA Elite Questions (E3 Related)
I'm still not sure if this game is going to be there in a big way, but if you have questions, post them here and I'll try to get some answers.
Also, if the questions aren't answered at E3, there will be other opportunities.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join.Tags: None -

My understanding is that it will be shown behind closed doors, but it could have changed from when We went couple weeks ago.chuckcross.bandcamp.com

2. Is DNA still in the game? If so, what changes/upgrades are being made?
3. Is there a proper practice mode?
4. Did they add more post moves?Comment

Re: NBA Elite Questions (E3 Related)
Dynasty mode has received a lot of criticism from last year, has there been any changes to it or is it a focus for next year?
Will there be real life arena sounds that we hear on tv, such as the DAY-O chant or the Sweet Escape by Gwen Stefani?Comment

How will the AI work? Is DNA still in the game or is there a new method?

Re: NBA Elite Questions (E3 Related)
NBA Live has been less then stellar in regard to the CPU's decision making on the court. Typically forcing up bad shots and some horrible shot clock management, among other things.
So with all the changes/improvements being made to the controls and physics with NBA Elite, what are they doing to make the CPU AI play a more fundamentaly sound game of Basketball?Comment

Re: NBA Elite Questions (E3 Related)
Since they are going to real (actual) physics in terms of player movement will they do likewise w/the ball? I know they say the shot stick allows you to shoot long, short, left, or right but traditionally in Live how the ball hits the rim/backboard has nothing to do with how it comes off. In real life there are laws of physics that say things like if the ball hits the rim at a given angle while traveling at a certain velocity it will deflect at a certain one (for every action there's an equal and opposite reaction). In Live I can shoot from the 3pt line, back rim the shot but it'll fall 2 ft in front of the rim directly in-line with the highest rated rebounder! I don't expect true physics but this has been a problem w/Live's rebounding forever, the balls don't go where they should based on how/where they came from, but they travel paths based on button timing and rebounder ratings! As of matter of fact I don't think I have ever, since Live 95 (and I've had them all) seen a ball back rim and long rebound past 6 ft from the rim!Comment

It's called constructive critisism. He's right, the CAP system has been very average for a while now.Comment
