    2. I don't think so. I think the hand you dunk with is determined by the hand you were dribbling with, the approach angle, where the defenders are and the player ratings. I can double check this though as I'm not certain.

    3. Agreed. Great idea, thanks.
no problem thanks for being so active on the boards. now get off the forum and get some rest!! :P

Re: What exactly is real-time physics?

I was wondering would it be possible to have a players sweet spot fluctuate over the course of games or during a game were he would get in the zone and his sweet spot would increase and a little smaller if he were to miss a few shot's so he in essence would have an off night. Like Ray Allen went something like 8 for 9 behind the arc one night, but the game before he couldn't throw it in the ocean.

It would make it interesting from game to game finding your hot guy... it could be someone off the bench.

I actually hope that they don't do this. no offense intended, just saying my opinion. I feel that getting hot should be in the hands of the gamer. Some days you'll be pushing the stick up great and some days you won't. I don't want the game to decide if i am having an off day. I also hope they don't put momentum in the game. i feel that momentum is really all mental so that should also be in the mind of the gamer. It's not like all of a sudden farmar, and odom are better players, they just mentally believe in themselves so they play better. the players feel confident and they go on a 10-O run. I think these kinds of things should be left to the gamer and not done under the hood. at some points in the game you will feel confident so you will play better.

This is where I'm leaning as well. It feels way better when these hot/cold streaks are real, as a result of your skill and how well you're playing. It really gets into your head, and you can't just blame the game

But I understand the OP's concern. If you're worried that we won't have these moments in the game and things will be the same every time you play, you don't need to worry.

Once it's in the hands of the person you're playing with, you'll get much more interesting and compelling things like hot/cold streaks, pressure situations and home court advantage than you'd ever get by programming them into the game.

            I have a question and a suggestion.

            Question:
Will there be Signature Packages(Jumpshots, Dunks, Dribbling, Celebrations, ect...)? Not just for Superstars but for all players (for instance will we see a virtual Luke Walton, Brian Scalabrine, or Chris "Birdman" Andersen). If there will not be packages for ALL players what percentage of players can we expect to see Signature packages for???

            Suggestion:
I would suggest that there be an "option" for dynamic refereeing. Because different refereeing teams call games differently. Some call touch fouls and some just let them "boys" play.

Thank you in advance for your response...

I agree with not wanting the cpu to determine my fate, but if I the player am off that day I'm off across the board not just one player, with the increase or decrease in the sweet spot I can find a goto player that night. I as the player I will still be off but my chance's will be better with that player. And then I could work to get him the ball, then come the double teams, then ball rotation, then breakdown in the D, then it fills organic.

I see what you're saying. You also want the strategic component of trying to get the ball to a specific player.

                Understood.

                Thanks for the feedback.
