I don't care about team specific videos or montages or rituals. I just want the PA starting lineups like the games used to have, at least for Finals atmosphere. The Celtics video is a good example.

Yea, if they put stuff like that it, that means less time focusing on more important stuff related to gameplay.

Besides, Lebron probably won't be with the Cavs anyway, lol.

I wouldn't care about team specific intros...it will only be cool the very first time you see it, maybe second. After that, most people will pretty much be skipping through it or finding it annoying.

The Lebron/Howard gym intro is a good example of that....how annoying was it after a while to see the exact same thing with Lebron entering the gym and saying "HEEEY!"

I'd have to say PLEASE DONT put this sort of thing in the game...Its a waste of time and after seeing it once most of us would not want to see it a 2nd or third time...Stick to the meat and potatoes and that is...in no specific order:

• GAMEPLAY
• IN GAME PRESENTATION
• ONLINE PLAY

I disagree. There is no reason not to have starting lineup presentations. All of the basketball games used to have them and they were better than the type of pregame stuff in games now. Adding PA starting lineups isn't somehow taking away from time spent on gameplay.

Not a lot of people sit through them more than once or twice, especially if its the same thing over and over. Who cares that older games used to have them?

Gameplay is more important and much more advanced these days. Every resource and minute of time counts. I don't want a dev researching dance moves of the Cavs or other teams when he could be thinking of a way to fix and polish gameplay elements.

This was one of the reasons Live started going downhill until '10. They spent too much time on gimmicks and flash and went away from the core gameplay.

I understand why people would want player-specific intros but I agree that it really isn't something that will add to the game. Team-specific intros would be nice with the team-specific PA announcers.

I hope that they build on the pre-game presentation from last year showing key guys with stats, etc....

Only the OP was talking about stuff like that. I (among others) am talking about the actual starting lineups like they showed on TV every game of the Finals. And again, that isn't taking anything away from game play. The fact that they've been in games before means that they have experience in putting the sequence together.
