Not farfetched to say its could be the most improved..it has alot of room to grow and they've had 2 years to do this..

I wrote this article for WiredFans. I did see NBA 2k11 at E3, but it was not playable. As such, it is hard to make much of a judgement on it. 2k is keeping their cards close to the chest on the game, as, well they can afford to do so... They were the better game last year (and most years before). Public opinion is already on their side.

Let's be honest here. Half the reason I think it is the most improved is that is was so bad last year. Don't knock this years product until you have tried it...

The reason for the word MAY is that this is not the final game. They still have a few months to mess things up. But what I have seen shows they are on the right path...

That comment was not meant as a direct digg at 2k.

Haha if you want to keep up on sports video game content you have to know OS. Also pastapadre and owen good's stuff at Kotaku are great reads...

I wouldn't say Live 10 was "so bad last year". I buy both games, every year, for at least the past 7 years. Last year I was disappointed by both games, but last years Live was by far the best Live (on next gen), IMO.

The fact is it's a tad bit early for anyone to be writing a hands on preview, IMO. They showed that 7 minute one on one video, and I honestly, I was not impressed... Again,that is MY OPINION. It wasn't that the graphics were bad, but the game speed was way to fast. And I got toasted by a ton of people for complaining about it. I know it's an early build, you know it's an early build, we all know it's an early build. Way to early for anyone to start jumping to conclusions about how good or bad it will be.

I'll tell you this much...Based on what I've read and what I gathered from the ONLY video, the game is undoubtedly headed in a more "arcade" type direction. I'm sure in the end, I'll be buying both Elite and 2K, as each game has always brought their own unique experiences. All I ask is that each series is better than last years.

I played both one on one stuff just to see all the new moves and a few full games. I enjoyed both aspects.

People throw around the words all the time, but I'd really like to know what people mean when they use the terms.

I have my own views, but I have a feeling everyone has a slightly different perspective on it.

I think it would be an interesting topic for discussion.

You must have missed the part where I said I've been a Live and 2K owner for the past 7 years, let alone an ea sports basketball game owner since Lakers vs Celtics. Also, see above reply to your friend.
