    Persistent Fatigue for Online Play

I know some people aren't going to want this but I know others will. We ALL are tired of getting online and playing the SAME THREE OR FOUR teams EVERY TIME we jump into a lobby. It stinks and is usually an exercise in trying to stop Lebron/Kobe/Howard etc. It gets boring and old pretty fast. But what if the guy hugging Lebron's sack has to actually manage his amount of play online? Suppose him using Lebron for a full game , 3 games in a row actually slowed him down considerably in that fourth game?

It would be nice if fatigue actually played a role in the online system from game to game as it does in franchise (well more like in 2K's franchise system). More over, using another team for a couple of teams wouldn't count either. So you couldn't just use up your Lebron and then go to Kobe while Lebron rested. You want to use that team then manage them. How about actually SUBBING somebody?

I doubt they could squeeze this in for this year but how about in the future devs? (Really how about now )

    No.

In real life Lebron plays 39-40 minutes per game....EVERY game. It would be annoying to handicap that.

What the better solution could be, is to scale the fatigue in relation to quarter length.

Lebron in a typical 48 minute game is on the court about 82% of the time, and needs short rest breaks.

If online you play 6 minute quarters (24 minute full games), maybe it would be a good idea to scale the fatigue so you will still have to sub him and play him 19 minutes (which is also about 82% of court time).

I agree with everything else though. Online is annoying because that's all people do. Just pick the Cavs/Lakers/Magic.

I'm a die hard Lakers fan but I don't even use LAL online because not only am I tired of playing against them online, I also don't want people thinking that I'm "one of those guys", haha.

Yeah but no way he could run a full game EVERY game from start of season to the end. He would be worn out in the playoffs. This NEEDS to be reflected online.

People are going to run him to death online the whole game if they can.

This is a terrible idea. If I use my favorite team all the time, why should I be at a disadvantage for that??? Keep this in franchise. Dont penalize people online for using their favorite teams constantly.

Which is why I suggested better/realistic fatigue implementation and scaled accordingly to quarter length.

Scaling it to quarter length would be the first step, and then from there going by how much they have the ball/turbo is held. I see guys who dribble from corner to corner around the three point line with Daniel Gibson every single play in a game. In real life, he is a spot up shooter and that is it, so doing things outside of what they do in real life should make these guys get tired faster and would also encourage realistic/non-cheesy play

Definitely a terrible idea... I only play with the Hornets and it would suck if I am forced to use other teams just so my guys don't get tired the next time I play... It was bad enough that I had to play most of the year without CP3 which I thought was rediculous...

EA simply needs to fix the fatigue in relation to the length of the gameplay settings...

LOL that was the first thing that came to mind.

While per-game fatigue is definitely needed, and of course it goes without saying that it needs to be implemented better, there's no reason why poor management of your team (aka run your superstar till he's dead all game, EVERY game) shouldn't be punished either. Reading some of these replies, and other comments in other threads has now gave me an idea for my sig!!!!

I think I rather just see players get really tired 1 game at a time, play poor defense and jumpers come up short if you dribble with him 23 out of 24 seconds of every possesion.

yea, definitely something to like this. And online game is a single game, shouldnt be treated as anything different.

Game by game is the only way to go.
I would like to see some improvement with online fatigue but not sure that can be accomplished in 5 min games. I kind of like the thought of scaling it based on percentages for the Superstar like Kobe and Lebron but there should be some thought on how to apply percentages to the reserves. Just because a reserve may only play 25% of the game IRL that's not because of fatigue. Tricky balance.
