I've always wanted NBA Live (now elite) to have a Hall Of Fame Mode to be put into the Franchise Mode. When up to 5 players from the retiring class at the end of every season meet certain career statistic standards and are saved into a viewable Hall of Fame.
If I am right this has been a feature in past NBA Live games, and its a feature I would like to see return.
This has been implemented in several other games, even some developed by EA such as Madden, and its very possible to have in the next game.
The requirements to be 'elected' by the game simulator will be as follows
(requirements vary with length of season)
Standard 82 game season requirements to be qualified by the computer for HOF selection
min. 5 years in NBA
min. 7000 points scored
min. 400 games started
min. 400 games played
min. 4000 combined 'other' stats
The better stats you have after that increase the chances of a player's election into the HOF.
Other Things That better chances into getting into the hall of fame:
MVP
MIP
Sixth Man
ROY
DPOY
Finals MVP
Member of an NBA Championship team
Player for a Coach of the Year
Player of the Month/Week
Rookie of the Month/Week
All Star
3 Point Champion
Dunk Champion
Skills Challenge Champion
# of Years on a team with a winning season (not a major factor but has some weight)
Member of and Olympic Team (see below)
FACTORS THAT TAKE AWAY/ADD NOTHING
Losing Team (not a major factor)
Frequent Injury
Prolonged Injury
Bad Morale
And Coaches could be elected into the HOF as well, if a Coach Management was implemented.
Hall of Fame Players automatically are sent to the coaches pool after they reach the age of 40 post retirement.
This is just an idea that would make the experience of Franchise mode 'more better'

Legend Team of The Year 2000-2010, 2011-2020 could also be generated from Hall of Fame inductees in a franchise mode and can be saved as a roster that you could play against in Play Now Mode. Kind of Like All Star.

OLYMPIC INTEGRATION
We have about 24 FIBA teams already on the disc, and during the Offseason summer every 4th year from the first season The Players with the best statistical seasons, and the best rated players are put on the team from their country of Origin.
Country Of Origin would have to be added to the Personality Part of each player (with their name, college, position, etc.)
If a particular country does not have enough players in the NBA, then they are just randomly created for each team.
Then there is an optional mode that you can play through a tournament consisting of FIBA teams in the off-season, so the action doesn't end just after the playoffs.
Selection to an Olympic team boosts HOF resume as well.

Well those are just a few modes that I thought would benefit the game-play of NBA elite.
I also think if for dynasty mode, we should have 3 team trades, trading for money considerations, Summer league and D-league if that would still be possible.
