My friend always uses cavs and i use washington...his big men Zydrunas and Shaq get all the rebounds on offense. what are tips for manual rebounding tht i can use...is there a box out button? I looked in the manual and couldn't find it. Please Help, thanks. Much appreciated.

yeah, if you hold L2, it will box out. and hold square(ps) or X button (xbox) on offense to tip in. -

I think boxing out is RB on the X360. Rebounding is broken in this game and as was stated who gets the rebound is usually a dice roll.NBAComment

Rebounding is a science. I know this from playing a lot of 5 v 5. Anyone who says it's random... it's not. Are there random aspects and sometimes crazy over-the-back grabs? Yes... but for the most part it has to do with fighting for position under the basket correctly.
You can push people around, push them under the basket, and box them out. Most of the time, it seems people fight for the spot right under the basket, but I believe you should try to fight for the spot under the rim but on the other side of the rim as the ball.
That's the first part. The second part is to do with insurmountable circumstances. Especially in 1 v 1. The reason the Cavs are the best team in NBA Live is not because of LeBron. IT has to do with their shooters and Big Z and Shaq. You need to tell your boy to stop running a cheesy lineup of Big Z and Shaq at the same time. Otherwise, you gotta try to get a bigger team to compete... but it's gonna be hard as I think that is the biggest lineup. There is just nobody that the Wizards have that can bang with Big Z and Shaq.
You just gotta be ready to win the other aspects of the game and be proud of yourself after you do if you end up beating the Cavs with the Wizards...
