gameplay over graphics honestly.....the only concern this year is how the game feels and point of control...im glad elite is focused on the gameplay instead of graphics..after bringing the gameplay to top form THEN they can move to graphics"Whatever You Do Dont Sleep"

In my opinion, in years past (Live 10) if you zoom up and take a screenshot the player models usually look pretty good.. but once you get it in motion, the animations are just way too awkward and cartoony, the players are too skinny and lanky, players look like they gravitate towards the rim on dunks, etc, etc etc.Comment

Re: Are graphics a point of concern this year? At all?
One of the reasons I loved Live series so much was for the graphics engine, not the details, just graphics engine. I thought previous artist were just lazy in details aspects. Minus Live 06 and 07 which looked great, but played like boo boo..
But Live 10's graphics were a step in the right direction. To have Elite 11 untouched is just not acceptable. The talent to detail was very noticeable in Live 10. I hope the improve from that and look even more amazing.Comment

Its fine that you have your opinion. That's great. But based on your posting history I doubt you had any real intention of ever buying Live/Elite anyway. Most of your posts imply you're a fan of another game, which is fine. But most people think that EA's graphics and player models are top notch and superior to other games in the genre.
You should edit your post because you're insulting peoples' opinions by stating your own "superior" opinion. Yay.Last edited by ParisB; 08-16-2010, 05:54 PM.Comment

Exactly. It's like they're playing on a planet that has a slightly stronger gravitational field. Everything gravitates and sucks into one another. Nothing seems fluid or natural which is ironic that "real physics" are the flagship of this game.In my opinion, in years past (Live 10) if you zoom up and take a screenshot the player models usually look pretty good.. but once you get it in motion, the animations are just way too awkward and cartoony, the players are too skinny and lanky, players look like they gravitate towards the rim on dunks, etc, etc etc.
And like many in this thread have pointed out, this year again the player models have the "cave man" thing going on. The models are hunched over and have an ultra awkward and unrealistic posture to them.Comment

umm, real time physics haven't been implemented until Elite 11, which hasn't come out yet....there is no more force field or suction anymore, from what we've seen and heardExactly.
