Neither are you then, you would know the sliding is due to their footplanting tool fighting with their rte there is no suction of forcefield

Re: Are graphics a point of concern this year? At all?
I realize that. And frankly I don't believe that 100% because look at KG in that last clip #5. He's not even in contact with anybody for most of the video and he's skating all over the place. So to say this issue is only related to the contact in RTP is a bit of stretch for what we've plainly seen.
I'm simply stating that numerous people have pointed out the force field thing in those threads. Look at the Kobe dunk on Rasheed. Rasheed looks like he was hit by a force field around Kobe. How can Kobe's body not be effected by the impact at all when dunking on someone yet Rasheed who weighs much more than Kobe is thrown 8 feet across the floor? Same with the Ray Allen clip just posted, there are clearly force fields when there's contact. Many people pointed it out.
The devs even have acknowledged this and have basically said the same response in each case: "these are just minor tweaks in the algorithms.....". I won't believe that they're "just minor tweaks" until it's cleared up because let's be honest, these are very challenging major issues that both 2K and EA have struggled with for years.Last edited by RIZDRAVER; 08-17-2010, 10:52 AM.Comment

It isn't a stretch man. That explanation was from the senior gameplay engineer of our game. This is the first year the game team are implementing physics in the game so there are a lot of things that are being worked out. A lot of the "skating" you're seeing is a result of footplanting issues that are being worked on. There is no forcefields or anything else in play during the video that you saw.I realize that. And frankly I don't believe that 100% because look at KG in that last clip #5. He's not even in contact with anybody for most of the video and he's skating all over the place. You're definitely correct in saying that they're challenging issues. This is year one of the development team implemented physics in the game. Now that the foundation is being laid it will mean that more work can be done to implemented even more realistic aspects of physics into the game going forward. The key this is year is for the team to lay down the foundation for the game. The devs even have acknowledged this and have basically said the same response in each case: "these are just minor tweaks in the algorithms.....". Would dynasty mode be a little more deeper this year? And the choice to play 29 or 58 games instead of 82? Thanks. It isn't a stretch man. Dude, you are such a *****! Didn't you realize that kobe is a jedi? He's using the force in that video.I realize that. And frankly I don't believe that 100% because look at KG in that last clip #5. Re: Are graphics a point of concern this year? At all?
I'm with the guy that started this thread. Its like they never make any major improvments to these graphics. Graphics sells games. 2K animations are beauitful but I never really liked the gameplay and I'm hoping Live("Elite") would improve these graphics.Comment
