I already clarified this with blackflash83, i had to sign a form not to release any info until Yesterday. I decided to wait a day put all my thoughts together and compose this tonight. You honestly think i would write all this up cause i feel like it?

I can honestly say that i hopped on the 130 metrotown bus from willingdon street went to EA Canada and played NBA ELITE 11. I wrote down my impressions. If you don't believe me what more can i do?! Because I have a well respected friend who has been working there 5+ years and doing an amazing job on FIFA that makes this whole thing seem false? I don't get it. He pulled some strings, talked to the guys and they let me come in and play it. Really goes to show you how down to Earth these developers are.

Presentation
Overall the graphics seemed fine to me. The colours really popped out and the lighting was impressive. Now this is where we come to a little bit of a controversy. Reading up on the impressions and seeing the videos released from the Boost Mobile event, many of you complained about "herky-jerky" "spastic" movements. I got to say although every thing wasn't perfect and there were some weird moments here and there, those videos are of no represenatation to what the game actually plays like. Thinking back on it more, i came up with one conclusion. When you are watching those videos, your WATCHING and not playing. When you actually have the controller in your hand and are thinking of the moves o execute you don't play so much attention to the movements as you do the outcome of your controller input. When you are playing your mind is so focused on conjuring up a play or iso with a player that your mind focuses on the moves and not the vision aspect of the game. This is something that is kinda hard to explain but you'll understand once you download the demo and try it for yourself.

In all, my time at EA Canada was very enjoyable rEAnimator and all the developement team and staff put so much into this game that it disappoints me so many of you are already writing it off before you play it. After all this is a videogame and not a movie. Hands down, NBA ELITE 11 is something different. If your like me and like to use your head to hear your opponents crying on their headsets this game is for you. If you just like to push buttons and dunk over 4 guys then ya, its not. If i can say one thing it's this. NBA Elite is the most innovative gaming experience controller input wise ever. If that made any sense. I can't wait to get my hands on the game. I have to wait just like you guys and it's Killing me!

This was the same thing i was trying to say in the elite 24 event thread. People were talking bad about it before they even played. They want everything to look so good and forgets how it should be played. i said the exact same thing in a post on that thread that i want to have complete control instead of having pushing a button and letting an animation control what happens. You picked the perfect words. This is a game, not a movie not to mention the fact that you was looking at the game through a camera. Who cares if every single pair of jordans or in the game. They look at the 2k videos and see that its better quality videos, and that every move is in the game and automatically think 2k is the better game. Just because the video looks better dont mean the game actually plays and feels better with the controller in your own hands.

People wont even give it a chance. But hey if the dev. are reading this then feel free to send me a copy of the game because I have always been and always will be a live/elite fan. Not to hate on 2k or anything because it is a good game but me and live go back to live 96 when i would dominate with penny hardaway then break every backboard with shaq, and buss every 3 with dennis scott; to live 99 when the first had 3pt shootout and would make all 30 shots wuth mitch richmond, and score at ease with Roster Player(Michael Jordan).

usually people that get invited are people that are posters from Nlsc or ea forum or here, u are coming out the blue and saying u got to play it, its not like you can walk up in there and start playing without some invite.

Did you not read the part where a very good friend of mine works in the same building with the team? He is the online menu graphic designer. He is really well known at EA. He talked to the team and they invited me for the afternoon. You have to realize this was a very rare opportunity. It's not like they had to fly me out there. I live 10 minutes away. They were nice enough to give me the opportunity to play this game and give my impressions on this forum.
