I'm guessing in 2 weeks.....the PSN update for Sept 14th. I cant wait for the demo. I'm tired of watching videos and getting peoples thoughts. The time has come and I want to try the game myself and form my own opinion.

Would be great if it dropped next week but I'm sure if that was going to happen we would know by now.

But Mintsa's probably right its most likely dropping on Sept 14 or 16.

I don't think it would come out the same day as FIFA11. I wouldn't even download it that day. September 16th is FIFA day.

Hopefully is out next week

Exactly Minsta! These videos and impressions do nothing for me. I want the game in my hand, so I can form my own opinion.

I pre-ordered the game. I'm a fan of the sport, and have been playing video basketball games for over 25 years now.

Loving the extra bonus with NBA JAM! Grew up playing that game in the arcades. Can't wait!

Then I realized that was about right for me. I think my first war Double Dribble. I never had the Atari 2 stick men game.

My first game where I knew what was going and actually knew most of the players was NBA 2K. Anything before that and I was just passing it around tryin to shoot 3's and dunk.

Had no idea who I was using but hey it was basketball so it was cool lol!

haha, Jam was my first Basket ball experience. In the arcade, but mostly at home on the super nintendo. I can still remember playing that game non stop, never got old to me for some reason.

I'm hoping we get a surprise release for the Demo next week, but it'll most likely be in two weeks.

OMG Double Dribble!! YES! I remember coming home after school and playing this game for hours! HAHA!!

It was the first basketball game (5 on 5) that had me enthralled! Loved it!

Thanks for being honest youngsta. but you are the reason nba live turned into an arcadey version of itself rather then the first sim ball game that could also have arcadey attributes if you turned off the simulation mode.

no lie. you became the new nba live fan, and because live was selling so well off of your back. see they had me and the other old heads that you were replying to. i was fan on the genesis with live. so there that goes. ps1 with the first polygon characters with hands but no fingers(LOL).

they had us. so they neglected us. and went for the new consumer. its similar how the REAL nba does their marketing and changes their rules. the reason old heads like us want the 90's RULES back in the real nba, because no one can guard anyone thats a perimeter player anymore. there is no such thing as a shutdown defender in the real nba. because of sterns(the commish) rules. but he changed that to make the game look more exciting. the calls (charge/block amongst others) are so up in the air as far as when do you truly call those calls. even with the charge/block line. it aint even funny. but stern did this on purpose. its how games are controlled. i'm not saying he tells the refs to keep games close. they know they need to make a game out of it when the lakers come to town. because the arena is at full capacity. if you give lets say a sacramento fan a glymps of hope that they could beat the lakers. even when they lose. thats enough to get them to purchase 5 more tickets that year. its marketing. and its marketing NOT to the basketball heads that know the game very well. not to the arm chair coaches and what they call weekend warriors(who play like they just barely missed the nba draft LOL). they do this kind of marketing to get women to like basketball, and a younger generation. so they can get more money and rake in new blood/new money. same thing EA did with live in the past.

now they are trying to bring back the 90's rules so to speak. it will be an ugly/slow process. but if they can suck it up and not fall to the early criticism of the fair weather fan. and stay the course. this game may end up the best hoop sim ever. at minimum it will push 2k and others to make Sim hoop games.
