Yeah i think that was the first basketball game that really wowed me. My cousin had that atari stick game which was 'ok' at the time but i still remember the first time i saw that you could go up for a dunk in Double Dribble than hit shoot again and you guy would double clutch and lay it in. I was in awe!!!
I cancelled my pre-order for Elite but may still pick it up if i like the demo. From the looks of it i may spend more time playing nba jam than Elite as my second bball game behind 2k11 but you never know they might surprise us.
