    Video Comparison part 2

This is one of the 1st videos I made, after launch of the game. There are no patches on this version and it's out the box on default.

    Video 1 - Live 10

Audio in Elite (crowd, atmosphere) sounds really good. One of the referees is missing from Elite 11 if you look under the Clipper's goal the ref is missing. I like how the refs ran with to the flow of the game in Live 10, they were animated, now they are stationary, lifeless. There is definitely much more skating in Elite, probably tied to the RTP, though it's much more than was in 10. I love some of the jumpers in Elite, I know they are cheesy with the rim physics and all, though they look like they would be fun to make.

Another thing to note - cheerleaders and camerman were animated in Live 10, cheerleaders were also present on both ends of the court. Now they are stationary and only on one end of the court. Camerman are too plenty in Elite and are heavily repeated. I have yet to see a mascot in Elite as well.

watching both of these vids just makes the skating and sliding that much more obvious in Elite 11. Also, look at Rose's shot around 1:35 where there is contact with Miller. There Miller and Rose both have realistic interaction to the contact. In the videos we've seen of Elite, Miller would have glided back 5 feet and Rose would have glided forward 5 feet as if Miller was pulled with a bungy.

i thought Live 10 was a good base. if they had at least touched up the player models, jumper animations & post game, i would've been happy for the most part. got none of that this year though

Man, that is UNBELIEVABLY FUNNY, it really does, everyone jumping through the roof to dunk it - bust out loud laughing on that one.

The dunks in Elite reminded me how players used to dunk on the Bulls Vs/NBA Showdown/Live games on Sega

you're 100% correct, Bulls vs Blazers & NBA Showdown that is exactly what the dunks look like. The guys just glide through the air like a force field from the rim is pulling them there. Good call.

To be honest I liked the Elite clip better. When Baron Davis bullied CP3 to the rim, that would never happen in Live 10 instead that would have resulted in an contact animation with a flip shot or something.

I think that in 10 there was just too much contact animations in the paint. I understand they wanted to persuade people to not abuse the paint but I didn't like the way they did it.

Yeah, the forced contact animations in Live 10 were brutal.

I don't understand why some people would wanna go back to that.

Because they look better. Since, you know, we watch video games, as opposed to playing them.

Im not sure too many people liked that chest bumping and all in Live 10, I for one hated it and asked several times to devs if there was a way to edit it at least, which I got no answer, but it did help to edit the game myself because

some of those ratings gimped the game, caused certain things to happen too often, that being one of them.. defense just overcommiting, on ball D too high, recovery D way to high, etc...

Anyhow, it was a crutch for the removal of things from 09, charges, blocking fouls, adjustment contact that that player tried to shoot over the stationary D with his hands folded waiting on a charge that never came

10 would've felt much better had that stuff stayed in to avoid the ballhandler forcing it inside
