Definitley didnt have the EPSN overlay last year. and they only brought up one stat overlay so i dont know how it can all be the same as last year. We will see come gameday or if they ever show us a halftime clip

Looks a bit better, moves too fast on video..But I read his comments on why! The coughing in the beginning was funny. Get some Robitussin it will clear that right up...lmao.

But too much dunking and too much sticking in crossovers, slow the pace down and play basketball. All this super fast run and dunk, run and jump shot, stick moves, stick moves, more damn stick moves and dunk or shoot. That isn't basketball.

The player models can be somewhat distinctive now, but would love to see more later.

I just saw some hot BBall action!!! I can't believe all the negative talk about this game. Be glad you have options. What if that new 2k server crashes on you. Who do I trust EA the big boys with big money to make it right.

Yea thats a fact that we never get respect even after going as far as we did two straight years. Most dont realize but we were 4 free throws (hedo), and a all-opp layup away from leading that finals 3 games to 1 going into game 5.

The user defender sagged off of the ball handler the whole time so I wonder if you had the defender go for steals during the crazy dribbling if you could get some and therefore get the ball handler to tone it down a bit...yes going for steals would get you burned once in awhile but just a thought...

yeah i think they were doing this on purpose to show off some of their new stuuf im pretty sure in the later videos they will play better defense

The way video game basketball works I have a feeling the Heat will murder people online on both games...

Im not talking sklls dominate it will look more like crossover crossover crossover dunk, pick n roll dunk, fastbreak dunk, spin move dunk, unless you can trigger a body bump in the air on defense. It looks fun but there hasnt been a real defensive stop in any videos.

lol yeah thats one of the many reasons i stay of 2k is horrible servers this game looks really good to me i wonder what difficulty they were playing on if it was on all star and above and we see all these dunks then we have a problem

This video, along with the clippers hornets one, are definitely an encouraging sign; they actually got me excited to try the demo. The game looks fun, but as far as a basketball sim it still has a ways to go.

Some notes off the top of my head:
-Physics engine looks very inconsistent. At times the interaction between players looks fluid and realistic, but other times, wades dunk around 1:02, a player will get dunked on as if he wasn't even there.

-The player movement needs some work, players are a little to stiff in there movements, not to mention the sliding/skating.

-Can someone tell me how that vince carter hopstep isn't a travel? I don't know the rules for hopsteps but that looked more like a jump than a hop to me. I do have to say that his pump fake right before the hopstep looked really good.

-Inside bounce passes get through way to easy. Reminds me of the lead pass problem of 2k.

-I really like the crowd noise and playoff atmosphere. That plus the addition of the ESPN crew really makes it feel like a playoff game on TV.

-A lot of people saying that this game is too fast paced and arcadey, which i agree, but sliders could correct this problem.

I think EA put themselves in a tough position with all their hype and talk about the physics engine. People were expecting this game to be leaps and bounds better than Live 10 and it's arguable which direction Elite 11 is going. This being the first year of a rebuilding process I think people were expecting a little to much out of EA. In a couple years the changes that have been put in place could result in a great game but right now EA still has some kinks to work out.

With all the patches and updates developers can do to games this could be a very different game in a couple of months. I remember reading a preview for this game in June and the article mentioned how quickly some problems could be fixed with the new engine. Perhaps there could be a Backbreaker 'Great House' like patch that can fix many issues and also add something to the game.

Based on most of your previous statements the game is flawless. You seem to always an excuse to what others think are flaws in the game. And I'm not talking about only the 2k fanboys, even the EA fans that point out the flaws.

if you took time to read my other post you would know that i dont think this game is flawless there is way too many dunks its just that 23 always points out the negatives and keeps saying everything is the same as last year when its not
