I am interesting to see how this more plays out. The reason i have been a online player mostly is because there is no game mode that really keeps my attention or that gives me a reason to continue playing it. Dynasty, season, be a pro, and other game modes even in the other games is nothing but game after game after game. So playing online offered the same thing but with better competition.
From what i understand legendary mode will have match-up every game and you are going to have a different match-up every game cause you are playing a different team every game.
I know you match-up against the person at your position so that is a good thing and you wont have to out perform the opponents star player every game. But you will some nite. Heck jordan had to start out some where to get to the top also.
And i hope that can keep me playing this mode. The fact that you dont have a goal like shoot 35% from the field, recored 5 assists, or score 10 points each night. I think there are goals like that but thats for the season. What will keep me playing each game hopefully is the fact that you dont have to play towards reaching a milestone each game. You are playing against someone else so to speak. And also since there are no goals you can relax anymore. I know in games where you had to reach a goal like shoot 35% from the field i would get their then stop shooting so i wouldnt shoot my way out of that.
But irl even when a rookie is going up against the star player from the other team its not just all about how many points you score. Its helping your team win and doing the right things so i know other stats also come into play. But i know a dev knows but does anyone know will it be based just off stats on if you out perform your match up or not?
