Tad Confused

I haven't been following this game as closely as I would like but I have seen some vids and read some of the interviews. The emphasis on the controls seem a bit odd to me. They look to be the exact same as the Freestyle controls that were introduced last gen circa 2003 . Correct me if I'm wrong.

For me it seems like the whole controls with the r stick is a mix of the freestyle controls mixed with a little bit of 2k controls.

To explain that it has the same concept as past live in that you use the r stick to do moves. But if you want to do for instance a spin move you would move the stick in a half circle or something like that, or to do a behind the back you would move the r stick down the rotate it to the left. When i learn how to post pics on here it will give you a good idea

In past lives you havent been able to do these moves to the extent as you have in elite. I think its the same concept as 2k but the way you do moves in 2k changes based on what ball you have the hand in, where you at and which way you are facing

Thanks for replying. I haven't played Live since '06 and was checking out a vid with a dev talking about new controls. I then watched some gameplay footage and it looked alot like Live 2005 (my fav). Threw me for a loop. I'll go ahead and sift through all the info.

Yea its nothing but pics that i posted showing you how to do the different moves.

Once you see the pics then hopefully it will help you understand the difference even though the moves are still tied to the r stick
