To me this demo will determine whether or not anyone decides to buy elite 11 or not

More than ever, that will be the case for me. The past couple of years I just bought both basketball games regardless. This year, not so much. Elite has not wowed me one bit but I'm looking forward to trying it.

They probably only recently found out their demos passed MS certification. Many many times developers have released demo dates only to have it pushed back a week or two because MS' certification for the marketplace is crazy.

I'm not 'in the know' but that's my guess. Could you imagine if they released a demo date then couldn't meet the expectations they had set? It'd give all the haters another thing to troll about.

It was due to approvals we still don't know for sure if the 360 demo is coming out tomorrow. The PS3 demo has been approved by Sony already according to blackflash83 and last time I checked they were still waiting on Microsoft.

They didn't want to give a date out and then have to retract the statement. I can already see that pissing off people if they did it that way so this was probably the best way they could go about it.
