Damn, can't sleep. Hate jet lag. Gonna dl the 360 demo now...

Oh, and saying Elite looks like a ps2 game is no longer the cool thing to do.

It wasn't funny the first time, and it's even less funny now.

Maybe some just don't like it and equal it with low quality. Nonsense if you ask me. I'm sure quality is a least the same, but it might be less appealing. Opinions are nice, as long as they are thought out. Plus I think most of people count animations under graphics. I count colors, lightning etc.

I downloaded the ps3 demo and have spent some time with the controls and i just can't get the hang of it, I seem to be shooting when I'm attempting the right stick dribble moves, eventually getting past several failed attempts of blocking durants shot I got into the celtics v lakers 5 on 5 and well plainly it lacked flavour and substance, gameplay appeared to be slowed down, which is a bit drastic without a sprint/turbo button present, and some of the shots beneath the basket didn't feel very authentic, I'm a bit disappointed that this will be the final cut before release, maybe I got caught up in the hype, or maybe I'm just not feeling the EA brand this year.

If you go into replay after an accidental shot you'll be able to see what you did with the right stick.

That may help you understand what went wrong.

Looking at some gameplay footage of the demo in youtube, and outside of the user being awkward with the controls, I like how the game plays...the pace is good, the spacing is good..the crowd atmospher is terrific.

Looking forward to trying it myself.

As far as how the players move...you are either going to like how EA games animate, or you are not.

I think it is just that simple, after observing this issue over the years. IVe always thought that issue was overblown, and just a matter of taste, more then anything else.

I dont have an issue with it.

Cant wait to play it for myself.

Whoever wrote, basketball isn't hockey, was right on the money. I apologize to the devs in here, but i'm just being honest. This is... whatever.

I really wish I didn't have to write that... but truth is truth. And I saw it in every vid.
I don't even want to play the demo now (It's downloading) but rEAnim asked me to give it a chance so I will.

It's alot darker on 360, but cleaner looking overall.
I'm going to tweak my xbox settings and see if that helps.

Oh and rEAnimator no replays in the demo.

What everybody is overlooking is full 5vs5 easba teamplay with so much control its going to be ****. No worrying about a players sig play you can play exactly like you in real life im actually excited.

after finally playing I gotta say.......Ima fan. Yea there's some weird stuff happening ie animations but the pace and feel is cool. The controls will turn the average joe off, but ima stick it out and get em down. But with the amount of control we have EASBA will be INSANE. This feature alone sells this for me plus I know EA delivers on the online aspect of things.
