Amazing some of the responses here. Dude gets something that is rare and people clowning him for it. I'm sorry but it just underscores the lack of insight some people have. If you REALLY think he bought it because of gameplay you really have to be kidding me.
Let's see here. How many 30, 40, 50+ year old cars go for more money than 5 new cars put together today YET they drive like crap, get no mileage, get burned in EVERY WAY possible by new technology and are nowhere near as comfortable as today's ride. Why because they are rare and collectibles.
How many baseball cards with players who's stats have long been broken fetch more than damn near the Topps baseball card company is worth today. Why because they are rare and collectibles.
How many comic books older than dirt with art that looks like a highschooler did it. Weak as hell story lines, corny one liners that are fifty years out of date like '22 gazoo' and 'catch you later I'm eating a potata'. And only cost anywhere from a nickel to twelve cents then now worth more than some people houses. Why because they are rare and collectibles.
Hell, a stamp, A STAMP MIND YOU, once sold for OVER 2 MILLION DOLLARS. Yes a piece of paper somebody licked, smacked on an envelope and mailed off sold for over 2 MILLION BIG ONES and you guys giving him grief for paying 2 small ones for a game?
Man it doesn't seem that hard to figure out why he bought it. It's just hard to figure out why anyone would have to explain it.
