Another farewell thread...

As you can probably guess, I will no longer be working on Elite and have moved on to a new project here at EAC. As such I won't around these parts very often.

I just wanted to take the time to say good bye to everyone here.

You may find this hard to believe, but I will always have very fond memories of the time I spent working on Elite, and the time I spent on this forum is certainly a highlight in that experience.

You guys have a great community here, and I wish you all the best. I was always treated with respect, even in the midst of heated discussions, and will always remember that.

I'm genuinely sorry that we didn't deliver the game you guys wanted. There's not much more to say than that I guess.

I know a lot of the guys down at Tiburon and I'm confident the game is in good hands. Be sure to keep them honest though

I'm not a particularly active member of the community, but I do lurk regularly & your work was appreciated big time. It was clear just how passionate you guys are about games & the work you're doing, so big thanks for that. Good luck with your new project!

We do appreciate you being on the boards, and although I was very critical of the game, you took all of the criticisms and still was very active on the boards. For that, we all appreciate it. Good luck in your future endeavors at EAC.

Wow!! sucks to see you go man! Well definitely have to say thanks for sticking around on the boards even when things got tough (I admired that). I appreciate your honesty and willingness to answer every question as best you could.

I can only hope the next batch of devs will express the same level of honesty and committment as you and stepsix have.

Anyways I wish you luck on your next project and I hope all the experience you gained on this board and working on Elite pays off.
