Just Played Live 2004 For about 5 Hours Today....

If he does all his shooting with LeBron, how does that make the game arcadey??? If you play in an arcade way, you will get arcade results. If I shoot every single shot with Kobe, then he will score all the Lakers points. Win or lose, it's not realistic. No game can be realistic if the player doesn't play realisticly. Don't fault a game becuase someone scores a lot with one player. Kobe once put up over 40 in a half(against the Wizards). He also once made 12 3s. If this happened in a videogame, some might claim it was arcadey. Not necessarily true. Sometimes people can get hot and make a lot of shots.

Lebron isn't Kobe, or anyone else. We don't know what he will do in the NBA just like we dont' know if the game is arcadey.

My first reply to this topic was it sounds arcadey I didn't say it was!!! If he'd said Kobe score 46 I would not have thought anything of it!! but Lebron he's not a superstar!!

I don't know if Lebron is a super star. He has super star endorsments and a Max deal. He has one of the top selling jerseys and will probably make the All-star game on fan voting.

I know he hasn't played a game yet, but he is talented from what I've seen. If Paul Silas lets him take the shots, he may be able to put up 46 in a game.

If you took LBJ(that's what I call him) on ESPN or ID or Live or any other game, you could drop 40+ with him. You could do that with more than 50% of the league. Even Steve Kerr has scored 12 points in 4 minutes once.

I'm just saying that regardless of who the player was and what they had, you can put up numbers on just about any game. Everybody in the NBA is good. Nobody gets there by mistake, so don't assume that just because Lebron may have a good rating in a game that it is arcadey.

you are right about me not playing realisticly in the game where I scored 46 with Lebron, but that is only because the person that I was playing against had a small point gaurd gaurding me, and for the most part Lebron was just too strong for him... So I kept Feeding him the Rock... But in the next game he finally caught on and began double/triple teaming Lebron and I was forced to then use my other options... But some would say that this is playing realistic, because if you have a mismatch you are supposed to exploit it...
