but does it have to be? Why don't they get the patch makers who fix the faces on PC to work on Faces and Player models. I mean the game would be 100% better. Tim from NLCS knows how good these guys are why doesn't he get EA to gather the best of the best and let them do the faces while they have their AI programmers work on AI the game would be great but these player faces or not on the level the next generation gaming consoles or PCs

Are the guys who made NBA Street 2 the Live devs? I am sure I read somewhere that they are the same.
Street 2 looks 10 times better than Live...maybe they can't get a decent frame rate with 10 Street 2 quality guys on the court?
Live with the Street 2 engine would be much better. The body sizes for starters look way better and it just seems to have much smoother animations. And while graphics don't mean gameplay, smooth animation makes gameplay better in my opinion.
Oh for those who didn't see it in the ESPN forum... this is what you are missing out on with 2K4...
(graphics-wise anyway)
