However, the movements are really good...I'd say they are getting close to Inside Drive for off the ball stuff (any poster who knows me, knows that's praise from me) and the general flow looks pretty good.
The Boston v Toronot clip is the best I have seen of any of the games so far. I am expecting to see some really good vids when ESPN hopefully releases some game play vids soon...their post game sounds good again.
I know a lot of people are saying there's going to be no D in LIVE...but I disagree. The mechanics to play D are clearly there.
Last year, even in a ridiculously paced game like 2003 was...you could play D if you set your team to never crash boards. It cut down the CPU fast break and forced a half court game (which wasn't too bad)
Are the pieces in place to play good D?
Blocks = looking very good.
CPU AI = looking challenging...right guys were posting up (see KG) and the right guys were taking the threes (see Antoine).
Off ball D = Looks like your guys are getting into it.
Double team and trapping = Looks the best of any game yet.
So, it's all there...and therefore it's up to you as the user to play the D.
I am almost sold on this game (It MUST have end game fouls though...surely EA wouldn't dare leave that out that again?

BTW What's with all the hate on the boards today...all the games are looking good, so we should all be feeling good.
