Different team styles are in the game...!?

That dynasty vid shows that the teams have different team styles *available*, at least in dynasty mode when YOU are choosing a team.

A question for the guys who have it, anyone who knows the answer etc...does it list these different team styles in SEASON mode?

ie, look on the vid and it shows that Dallas fast break ALWAYS.

Cleveland fast break OFTEN.

Detroit's preference is to HALF COURT.

This is THE singularly most important feature for me anyway. Real team styles.

In season mode, are these on display also? Can you edit them etc? (ie the teams you are not controlling)

I am not keen on playing a dynasty...theres just too many unrealistic trades...so i'd like to know if the season mode features these team difference also.

So far, the vids all look a bit similar...but it's hard to get a feel in 2 min vids, with one team a human etc.

If different team styles are in...it's a MAJOR plus IMO

Just another note on this, there's also the ability to set the following team styles:

FAST BREAK to HALF COURT

OUTSIDE to INSIDE

PHYSICAL to FINESSE

MAN TO MAN to ZONE



If this is in the game correctly...it should mean you can set New York and Detroit, for example, to play HALF COURT / INSIDE / PHYSICAL / MAN TO MAN...

And Dallas etc to FAST BREAK / OUTSIDE / FINNESE / ZONE...

*IF* this means we can set the teams to different playing styles, and they actually play like the real NBA teams...then this thing will be one for the ages.

Seems you guys get hyped by different shoes...but no one cares if teams play half court, full court, zone or man to man

Yea they got it ....steve said different teams play to their strengths in the game....check the impressions thread

edit: also the late game AI youve been pining about is very good as well based on steves impressions

I am not just talking about playing to strengths, I am talking about being able to customise...which I think LIVE 2004 may be able to do. If so, that's a big thing IMO.

Glad the late game fouling is fixed...2003 had zero end game AI.
