Do not I repeat do not order from EA

I oredered Ncaa 2004 from them with Overnight Shipping

I didnt get the game till after it had already been out for 3days in stores, by the time EA's copy came I already had the game from somewhere else.

If you dont want to get the game on release day then yah order from EA

Why do people preorder online.

<hr /></blockquote>I have no idea. Sometimes if you order online, some sites offer free overnite shipping. There is a slight chance you could get it the day before it hits the stores. People just like being the first to have it. I preordered at a Gamestop, I frequent and I know the game ships Tuesday, I'll have it Wednesday afternoon. Another reason could be that there are no EB's, GS, etc. where they live and at least you'd get it before your local Wal-Mart.

One reason I order some things online is for the free overnight shipping(if offered). Also, there are some times there is a special offer online. I've gotten some games for $40 with free shipping even though it comes out for $50 in stores. You also get to miss out on tax(in most states). Depending on the tax around your house, you could get a "meal" at McDonald's or something, but that only counts if you get free shipping.

I ordered Live online last year because I saw free shipping. Got the game the same day as most stores got it and didn't have to go out of my way(had it delivered to work).

There are some advantages, but you always suffer the risk of bad shipping info or somethnig being lost in shipping or not being home when UPS comes by.
