Ya i think EA put it like that, referring to last year and how that player did againts them.

True, but you can see why someone would think it's weird. I'd rather have them have a cutscene of the star player stretching or in the warm up lines--or atleast say something like "Perice torched these guys last time they played with 35 points" or something to that effect.

I think they said something to THAT EFFECT^^^on the pierce spotlight, but i think ea really just wants to point the best player of each team, you wont see a video spotlight of boozer for the cavs for example, i think they added that lil feature to make the game seemed more tv style.

I think seening the highlights are a nice touch. A lot of stations play highlights of a guy before the game. It would be nice if it was against different teams, but that doesn't really matter. It's a nice feature. Maybe a reason to watch pregame more than once. Seems like they have this or intros.
