    Double-Teaming...?

For those who have the game, is there a "Double-Team" button?

I have the PS2 and I know there's a Double Team play that you can call using the D-pad. But it seems that they double everyone who touches the ball.

I just want to double down on someone in the post and not have to do it manually (ie., my controlled player running down to help. I want some random guy running down to double).

    Thanx in advance.

Yea, you go to team stratergy(I think thats what its called) Its where you can assign diffrent offensive and defensive plays to the control pad. In there, you'll find a place where you can assign a any player to gaurd any player, and also double team him and set how often they double. So whenever they touch the ball, a player will come and double automatically.

I think he's asking whether you can call for a double team just for one play if you wanted to, during the game. I'd really like it if Live 2005 had a much more expansive defensive scheme present, like ID 2003's.

Yes, that is what I was asking.

And, the Defensive schemes are on point and are extremely effective. Trapping is the best I've seen in a b-ball videogame (honest opinion). And both the offensive and defensive playcalling are on the money. No complaints in this department from me.

I dont get the question now. You're saying you want a random player to double team a player in the post with the ball or without the ball? If without, thats illegal defense. But I'm sure thats not what you're talking about. You can call for a double and when they pass the ball you can switch back to man.

I'm pretty sure he's asking for a button you can press for a double team (Just like calling a play on offense)
