Do players in Live 2004 perform close to their real life abilities?
Are you seeing point guards blocking centers, Shaq nailing threes etc. or do the players seem to perform realistically according to their real life abilities? ThanksTags: None -

No, PGs do NOT block Centers and Centers don't shoot 3s. Most PGs can't even dunk. -

Re: Do players in Live 2004 perform close to their real life abilities?
From what I've seen in two games, it is realistic. Big men really clean the glass well. In one game last night, Yao Ming had 16 points and 12 boards (and 2 blocks and about 6 other altered shots) in an 8 minute quarter game. Steve Francis led the team in scoring with 25, and Mobley had 14. Both I and the CPU shot in the mid 40%'s from the field. Admittedly, this is an extremely small sample size (two games), but its been very enjoyable thus far. Can't wait to get home from work tonight.Comment

It's better than anything I've ever seen. A really nice thing is that I'm finding you need to have a balanced lineup on the floor if you are going to even compete on Superstar. No more putting all your 3-point shooters on the court at once and not being penalized - the CPU will back you down and score without mercy inside if you do.Comment
