Man is ANYONE, enjoying the game??

I mean damn the only thing I have been reading are complaints... I myself personally Love 2004, 2003 on the other was total garbage... I mean right out of the box on 2003 I was beating the computer on Superstar by 30 points... Now here in 2004 I am the one getting be by 30 or more points, man I love that... I mean yes the game does have its flaws, but damn every single video game that has ever come out has at least one very noticeable flaw... But because this is one of the most popular game series next to madden everyone expects it to be perfect. I knew that the game was not perfect but I knew that it was vastly improved, and a very good game.. I have played ESPN 2K4 on the PS2 magazine Demo Disc and to say the least I did not have any fun playing it... I mean yes it is a nice looking game but it plays a little to stiff... I would rather have my team mates running around calling for the ball than have them standing around watching me use ISOmotion, which when compared to Lives Freestyle pales in comparison... But Fellas dont take this as a Bash session on ESPN... What you should take this as is a self evaluation... Get it through your head that YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO GET THE PERFECT GAME PERIOD..... Take Live for what it's worth a great game with some at the most 2 or 3 flaws one which can be controlled by the user (jumpstop abuse)... I hope I am not in the minority by saying that this is the best, most fun, and most challenging Live that I have played in about 8 years... Sorry that some of you don't like it, but when ESPN comes out and you run out and get that you'll complain about that also, it's a vicious cycle...

I'm enjoying this game. Although an extremely limited sample size (two games last night), I've had two very close and REALISTIC experiences. I turned the speed down the 45, and found this to be the most fun I've had playing a sim basketball game since NBA 2000 for the PC...and this game blows that one out of the water.

With some slight slider tweaking here and there, hell yeah I'm enjoying this game! Best sim b-ball I've played in years.

I'm through responding to all the "negative" posts on here.

Wait til next week. The ESPN boards will be worse.

It's the nature of the beast. This always happens, and it happens for each anticipated release - criticism is easier to write than praise.

I think, also, that the pre-release posts whip everyone into a froth expecting that the game will be Better Than Sliced Bread ... and when released, we find that there are flaws. Just like every other piece of software ever released.

Personally, I like the game. I've been unimpressed with Live this generation (since the PS2), but am enjoying this edition a lot. Online play is a blast, freestyle isn't abusive, and defense is fun. Also I like that it seems to reward basic BBall strategy - if you take it to the rack, you get better shots, or fouls. Jumpshots are erratic and don't put the pressure on with fouls.

Yes i am enjoying this game, more than any other bball game i have ever played! There are some problems with the game and people love to put down anything so you will always hear the problems a game has when it first comes out.
